This is an internal Eclectic Tech project. Designing the logo and website, writing content and submission guidelines, installation of software, template creation, etc. are all part of what Eclectic Tech has been doing during non-billable time.
Work on content, features, skinning/templates, all in progress.

Three spinning spirit-people, with separate elements showing mind (head), body and spirit (rainbow aura).
The people are designed deliberately to be something like a "recycle symbol," signifying reincarnation and how we're all interrelated, how we exchange all of our elements with each other.
The rainbow aura is lined up in the colors of the chakras -- purple at the crown, red at the root chakra.
When the logo was reaching finalization the head and bodies of all three were plain-old-white-white, and something about the symbol bothered me. I decided on three earthy skin tones (thanks, Crayola! :P ) to represent diversity and non-exclusion. The logo would already require a full 4-color press for the rainbow aura effect, so the addition of more colors adds a rich layer to the symbolism and an invitational quality important for building a diverse community.
I think the earthtones help ground ("bring down to Earth") what was otherwise over-balanced bright and dazzling colors in the rainbow aura.
The text is black (or can be white on a black background), so that it can still compete with the spinning spiritfolk.
