In the South, Nightwind got a Calling -- a psychic calling from someone, in this case a person in need of healing. She took Brenhani with her and found Amethyst unconscious, with a broken leg. She healed her friend, and Brenhani ran ahead to scout out the attacker. Following Brenhani, a lumbering automaton, inside the formerly defended Southern border, ambushed Nightwind. As she dispatched of him, she heard Brenhani scream (half-howl, half-scream). Brenhani sent Nightwind a message that it was a trap and not to follow, but in the message was also the irresistible Calling of someone in need of healing, and Nightwinds gift became a curse. She followed the psychic trail to a clearing where Brenhani as Dreal again (changed back into an elf) was captured on a rock, force-shifted back into her native form by a hooded dark figure sitting by a fire in the clearing.

Nightwind stepped into the clearing, and saw Brenhani in an unsurprising elvish form, instantly recognized by Warren as Dreal. Warren took over Nightwind's body at that point, and faced the dark hooded figure in the clearing. After the briefest of embraces between Xaron and Warren, the angry and warped Xaron, in exchange for Warren having exiled himself and Dreal so many eons ago, exiled Warren, Nightwind and the residents in Nightwind's head, left the comatose form of Nightwind on the edge of Kerri. The fate of Dreal is unknown, but it's quite possible she was also exiled at the time.
