Upon news of Nightwind's recovery, he bade Sednil to meet with Nightwind, Lupei and Amethyst in the South, to begin to work out plans to destroy the enemy finally. He no longer had the easy means of communication with the southern army that Drendel always had, and sorely missed it. With no Sidhe byways to speed travel, with fewer and fewer Sidhe steeds which could not be spared for messengers as they were needed for battle, and with more and more Sidhe falling to the enemy, he knew the battles were coming to a crucial head and something must be done before there was nothing left to defend.
