The Unmaking

Angered by the unforeseen difficulties to take up his trail, Xaron Unmade the Between from Kerri and the land of Sidhe. The Unmaking was a terrible event to all Sidhe kind. It was perceived as similar to an earthquake on many sides. The Sidhe in Kerri felt the security of being a step from their homeworld tearing away from them, crumbling before them, feeling their brethren slipping away, or seeing people shaken and stumbling into Kerri from the Between. Those in the Between were forced to one side or another, an evacuation, injured and bleeding. Those who did not choose or were trapped...were never heard from again. Animals fled the Between in panic, Sidhe elves and humans were separated from loved ones many worlds away in Faerie, not knowing the fate of their mates and friends, whether they had escaped successfully or disappeared as the fabricated world Between crumbled away. Drendel, caring for Celeglas who at this time was a very young boy, was torn between caring for her new charges, mourning the loss of friends and family, wrestling with the country's shock and the eyes that started to turn to her for guidance, the quest to find out who or what had Unmade the world and to deal with it somehow, rebuilding the protective magics on Kerri and comforting the now motherless child in her care. She did all she could.
