Celeglas

Then no King

by the Crisses

Sednil was in the militia territory when news reached the South of the king having fallen to the army in the North. Sednil and Nightwind raced North to recover the body of Celee, who was in an apparent coma. His soul had been dismissed from his body by strong magics. Where it had gone to was unknown. A shelter was used as a magic tomb as security in the hopes that he would recover, his body kept alive by healing magics, and the tomb sealed and protected from the outside world. The dark rider was dead, but Xaron was not, and Xaron had shoved Celee's soul out of his body. He had discovered a new tactic to destroy the powers and cohesiveness of the Kerri armies. Celee's soul was in exile, not allowed to return to Kerri for the time being. This time Nightwind looked after Celee's body briefly while he was disabled, but again, neither had truly met the other person so closely tied to their fate.

Sednil became regent again and commanded the Northern armies. Sidhe numbers were dwindling. Nightwind returned to the Southern militia and her guerilla warfare against zombies and automatons. Time passed in interminable battles against an enemy that seemed to have no end to his armies.
