I ran many services on Fiverr as a designer, wordsmith, coach, etc. and they started messing with the rules.

Fiverr was always supposed to be a secondary source of income. When the rules changed, I realized how stressful it was going to be to maintain my hard-earned reputation there. Then I also realized I wasn't making enough money to be handing 20% of it over to Fiverr for lower and lower customer service.

There's other factors. Fiverr sucks up a lot of time for not enough money, and I ended up so distracted I ended up losing my housing. I can spend that time building my business up rather than racing it to the bottom.

I'm quite happy to try to help former Fiverr customers and give folk copies of their files if they need them, etc. so I'll leave a tip gig and book coaching gig up until they tick me off so much I decide to even take that down. Also toying with the idea of putting some coaching gigs on there that will be far more profitable in the long run, but not expecting much traffic for that work from looking at who is up there already and how many ratings they have.

It's a bit sad, my income will probably get a little nicked but I'll gain back literally hundreds of hours and be able to refocus my time and attention where it ought to be: building my coaching business.
